Job Title: TMS Coordinator - Prior Authorizations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Coordinator with expertise in prior authorizations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in healthcare settings, specifically dealing with insurance companies and navigating the prior authorization process for TMS treatments. The primary responsibility of this role will be to facilitate and coordinate all aspects of TMS prior authorizations, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for patients and providers.

Responsibilities:

1. Prior Authorization Management: Handle all aspects of TMS prior authorizations, including verifying insurance coverage, obtaining necessary authorizations, and resolving any issues or denials that may arise.

2. Patient Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding TMS prior authorizations, providing guidance, answering questions, and addressing concerns throughout the process.

3. Provider Support: Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather required documentation, submit authorization requests, and communicate authorization status updates.

4. Insurance Communication: Communicate with insurance companies to advocate for patients and ensure timely processing of prior authorization requests.

5. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all prior authorization activities, including documentation of communications, approvals, and denials.

6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and insurance requirements related to prior authorizations for TMS treatments.

7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the prior authorization process, implementing changes as needed to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

8. Training and Education: Provide education and training to staff members and providers on prior authorization requirements, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, with specific experience in prior authorizations for TMS treatments.

2. Knowledge of insurance terminology, policies, and procedures related to prior authorizations.

3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies.

4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

Working Conditions:
